Holiday Fashion: Tie Neck Blouse

So you're up on the latest trends but aren't sure how to pull it all together? Don't worry, we're on the same boat. Watch out for the "holiday fashion" series. This one is for a start....

This season's ultra-feminine tie neck blouse is the perfect foil for menswear-inspired trousers, vests and blazers, as well as pencil skirts.

Keep your blouse from looking dowdy by pairing it with stylish pieces that fit perfectly. Show a little skin above the tie if possible. For example you can pair this soft yellow blouse with pinstripe wool trousers and purple flats. A silver handbag and purple cocktail ring complete the look.

Japan's My Chopstick Bra

In Japan, a "chopsticks bra" has been unveiled for busy women by Triumph International. The bra maker wants to pass the "green" message with hopes will cut down on disposable chopsticks.

The "My Hashi Bra" (or My Chopstick Bra) comes with collapsible chopsticks stashed inside the body of the brassiere. One cup resembles a rice bowl and the other looks like a serving of miso soup.

Triumph spokesperson Hiromi Shinta said: "Its small step, but because many Japanese chopsticks are disposable, big chunks of forests are being cut down. So we thought we could help promote the use of "My Chopsticks" and help cut down on disposable chopsticks."
